6. Because not all kitchen tasks are straight arrow in nature, I made this 12" long curved handled spoon. The bowl has with heart shaped opening and overall the bowl is is 3 1/4 " by 1 7/8". Do not know what the wood is -- but it's a warm, rich color. Great for lifting out those dumplings, boiled potatoes or eggs. Price: $24
